Intro:

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a simple, yet very fun game. It’s a battle royale platforming game with somewhere around 60 players each round. There’s new levels being added each season, most of the levels consist of obstacle courses, and team based levels.

My Thoughts:

The level design in this game is really solid. Many of them have really fun and creative ideas. I really enjoy the obstacle course type levels, like the Whirlygig and Skyline Stumble, since I think they have some really cool ideas, they make you utilize well timed jumps and dives to get better a placement. While those levels are really great, I still feel like some of the levels fall pretty flat, especially the team levels. They feel very dependent on the team you’re assigned. If you get yellow team, you’re probably gonna lose (even though I will forever stand by them being a good team).

I believe the game should have more variety in it’s gameplay, since a lot of the stages feel very similar to each other gameplay wise. Though as of lately, the newer seasons have added more unique ideas to the table. Season 4 specifically adding tons of unique ideas such as water and anti-gravity, making for some very fun and cool level design.

The game can get a little bit repetitive over time, since many levels feel the same, and since there aren’t too many levels yet, the game can feel quite repetitive. Chances are, you will probably play the same level once per round. This issue is slowly being resolved now that there’s more seasons, but it’s still there even with 4 seasons.

Overall, this game’s levels are very good, however it would be nice if there was more variety, and less repeated games.

Other than that, this game has fantastic and charming visuals, a really nice and fitting soundtrack, and addictive gameplay.

Fall Guys is a very fun and enjoyable game.
